Message from Head of School
“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.” – Theodore Roosevelt.
When the pandemic hit us, there were moments of uncertainty. But Team AAIS recovered quickly, literally over the weekend, the rest of the AY2019-20 closed very well.
We have always been committed to learning and have been guided by our vision. True to that, the Virtual Learning at AAIS has been carefully developed and structured to ensure that Students are engaged in their learning.
Believing in the philosophy that technology is an enabler, at AAIS it has been the only way, when integrating technology in the teaching-learning process which has ensured that the AAIS community continues to progress in their learning journey. With this as one of the founding pillars of the Virtual Learning at AAIS, the staff have been able to extend their pedagogical practices to integrate with the technology available. This approach has stood us in good stead.
At the core of the learning has always been the overall student well-being. Every aspect of the well-being has been thought of and carefully considered while designing the medium. To keep the exchange as a two way communication that has always existed, has allowed relationships to be nurtured and strengthened between the students and the teachers.
