Library
Reading is one of the significant factors in a learning process, and a library is the central hub for nurturing the habit of reading in the minds of students. At AAIS, the library is equipped with a range of books across diverse disciplines. Classics, Fiction and Nonfiction books are available for all age groups of students. Students also have access to journals, magazines and periodicals, which aid in their learning process. Apart from the traditional reading materials, students are also provided with a variety of digital and print resources, to expose them to diverse resource materials. Through productive use of the library, students develop research skills. They also learn to promote discussions about diverse perspectives amongst different authors, developing international mindedness.
Language is more than a tool to communicate. It opens windows to new ideas and strengthens thinking all through a child’s developing years. Learning another language allows one to discover and appreciate another culture, broadening minds and encouraging access to people across the world.
“The limits of my language are the limits of my world.”
– Ludwig Wittgenstein
