Guest Speakers

At AAIS, guest lectures play a pivotal role in enriching students’ academic experience, aligning with their syllabus. These lectures, delivered by experts from diverse fields, offer students unique perspectives, insights, and real-world applications of their curriculum. By exposing students to a breadth of knowledge beyond textbooks, guest lectures foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and interdisciplinary understanding. They also provide valuable networking opportunities and inspire students to explore their passions and career aspirations. Ultimately, these guest lectures serve as catalysts for holistic education, preparing students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected and dynamic world.

Embracing Tales

Ms. Priyanka, an exceptional storyteller, enchanted our school with enthralling folklore, captivating all. Her interactive sessions delved into storytelling’s mesmerizing world, transcending cultures and emotions. Students explored storytelling’s art, connecting emotionally and fostering creativity. This experience enriched their learning journey, instilling storytelling as a cherished lifelong skill. John, Grade 4, highlighted art’s pivotal role in addressing societal issues, acknowledging the profound impact of their unforgettable encounter with Ms. Priyanka. Their appreciation for storytelling burgeoned, igniting a passion for narrative expression.

Exploring Advertisements

Grade 2 students delved into the world of advertisements as part of our “How We Express Ourselves” theme. Thanks to eager parent volunteer Mr. Pawan, they gained insights into advertising’s purpose and types through real-life examples. His enthusiasm and interactive approach, including a fun quiz, made the session engaging and enjoyable. The kids were actively involved, discussing and questioning, amplifying their overall learning experience.

Exploring Marketing Realms

AAIS parent Ms. Prachi, delivered an insightful session on advertising types—print, digital, TV, and radio—offering a holistic view of marketing. Her engaging discussion illuminated the purposes of ads—informing, persuading, and reminding consumers—while unraveling the complexities of consumer decision-making. Exploring needs, wants, and preferences, she empowered our students with practical consumer insights. Ms. Prachi’s valuable contribution enriched our curriculum, deepening students’ understanding of advertisements. We’re immensely grateful for her dedication, expertise, and invaluable insights.

Cosmic Healing & Mystique

Guided by the enchanting wisdom of Ms. Radhika, students delved into the cosmic realms of pranic healing, belief in the universe, and the mystique of healing crystals. Through transformative sessions, they experienced the subtle energies that connect us to the universe, leaving them with reflections of awe and wonder.

The Human Library

The Human Library offers Grade 3 learners a transformative educational experience that goes beyond traditional learning methods. By turning grandparents, parents, and professionals from various fields into living books, students are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in authentic narratives and gain insights that extend beyond the confines of textbooks. This innovative concept promotes empathy, understanding, and open-mindedness as students walk in someone else’s shoes, exploring diverse perspectives and life experiences. Through engaging conversations with living books, students cultivate a culture of dialogue and tolerance, fostering a deeper appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual’s story.

Crafting Stories

Grade 5 students had the honor of hosting Mr. Pattukkotai Prabhakar, a renowned Indian Writer, for an enlightening guest session. His insights and real-life examples about character description, story framing, and writing techniques were a hit among our young learners. Thanks to the coordination by Ms. Swarna Priya, the session was a resounding success, inspiring students to explore diverse perspectives in writing. Witnessing their enthusiasm to learn from a professional in the field was truly fulfilling. As Janess aptly put it, “Sometimes stories might not have a solution, the only solution is the lesson learned through the experience.”
