Mr. S N Balasubramanian
Chairman

With a distinguished background in General Management, Leadership, and Strategic Planning, Mr. SNB, a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant, retired as Former CEO of ACCL, an associate enterprise of the auto-major Ashok Leyland. Through his active roles in Rotary International and other Social enterprises, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering excellence and innovation in education.

Having been a critical member of the AAIS Governing Board since 2018, he has exemplified his passion for empowering young minds and cultivating a nurturing learning environment, completely aligning with the values and vision upon which our School was founded.

Dr. Natraj IPS

Dr. R. Natraj, I.P.S., a seasoned and versatile Administrator renowned for his professional ethics, integrity, and leadership, served as the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai, and as the Additional Director General of Police, STF. His tenure witnessed significant improvements in security and law enforcement across Tamil Nadu. Post-retirement, he chaired the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and served as an MLA, introducing reforms for transparency and fairness.

Dr. Natraj, holding a double Masters and a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Madras, champions lifelong learning. His vision drives AAIS initiatives, focusing on value-based education and nurturing self-discipline among students.

Mr. Gokul S Dixit 

Mr. Gokul, a qualified Chartered Accountant and MBA graduate from the University of Michigan, USA, commenced his career at PWC. With rich experience gained from Arthur Andersen, AMEX, General Motors, and The Valence, a New York-based investment bank, he garnered expertise across diverse industries. Having worked in India, Singapore, and the US in consulting and finance roles, Gokul demonstrates a sharp acumen for business intricacies. His global perspective and dynamic leadership have been instrumental in driving successful ventures and navigating complex challenges. Additionally, he actively serves as a respected member of the school board, contributing to the education sector's growth and development.

Mr. G. Rajagopalan

Hailing from a family of legal luminaries, Mr. G. Rajagopalan graduated from Vivekananda College before pursuing law at Madras Law College. Enrolled as an Advocate in 1983, he became the Special Government Pleader, State of Tamil Nadu in 1991 and later served as senior standing counsel for the Election Commission of India. Designated as a Senior Advocate by the Madras High Court in November 2000, he's handled numerous significant cases. Associated with Sastra University, Thanjavur, he chairs the Trust of Swamy Sudhananda group, overseeing multiple educational institutions nationwide. Notably, his law library stands as one of India's largest private collections.

Mr. Kumar Ramanathan

Mr. Kumar, an accomplished professional, has held leadership roles in renowned consumer companies like Britannia, Tetra Pak, Pepsi, and Vodafone. His transition from traditional consumer products to technology spaces showcases his strategic prowess. With expertise in branding, strategy, and stakeholder engagement, spanning four decades, he offers invaluable wisdom to the AAIS Community, particularly in Leadership and Positioning. As a guest faculty at esteemed institutions like Tuck School of Business and IIM Trichy, he imparts knowledge on International and Global Leadership. Additionally, he serves on the boards of various Tata companies and an NBFC. Mr. Kumar holds degrees from Delhi School of Economics and IIM Ahmedabad.

Mr. Jayaramakrishnan

Jayaramakrishnan (JRK), an IT veteran with over 40 years of experience, retired as Vice President – Global Alliance of Tata Consultancy Services, where he continued as a consultant until 2020. With 32 years at TCS, he managed key accounts like American Express and Time Warner in the USA, then served as Vice President – India Business Unit. JRK chaired the Computer Society of India, Chennai Chapter and led CII initiatives. Currently a member of NSDC's Proposal Approval Committee, JRK advises educational institutions and serves on startup boards. He holds a Post Graduate Management degree from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute and enjoys golf and Carnatic music.

Dr. Jayshree Oza

Dr. Jayshree Oza, with over thirty-five years in global education leadership and consulting, led missions for India's MHRD, evaluating educational schemes. As Team Leader for the Technical Cooperation Agency (TCA) to India, she collaborated with NCERT and NUEPA on national surveys and teacher development. She founded the Teachers Professional Development Centre, training educators extensively. Currently advising the Central Square Foundation (CSF) and serving on its board, Dr. Oza holds double masters in Business Administration and education, with a Doctorate in International Relations. Her expertise supports the AAIS Leadership Team in Curriculum & Pedagogy, Research, Education Management, and Leadership & Capacity Building.

Dr. Geetha Iyer

Dr. Geetha is an educator, researcher, writer, speaker, and editor. With over 26 years of experience in education and research, she passionately advocates for inquiry-based learning and environmental education. From teaching to leading schools and conducting research in various ecosystems, including wildlife sanctuaries and reserves, Dr. Geetha inspires the AAIS Community. A prolific writer, she has authored textbooks and contributed to science journals and national dailies. A sought-after speaker, she addresses topics ranging from education to bioinformatics. Holding a Doctorate in Education from the University of Madras, Dr. Geetha's expertise and enthusiasm enrich both academia and the community.

Mrs. Radhika Santhanakrishnan

Mrs. Radhika Santhanakrishnan a Commerce Graduate with specialization in Industrial marketing hails from a family of Industrialists. Having survived cancer in the year 2008-2009, she founded Penn Nalam, a non-profit organization with a goal set to increase and spread awareness about breast and cervical cancers, which are the two most common cancers affecting women in India. Straddling both the corporate and social goals, Radhika has been able to create an impact in both the worlds. As a part of AAIS she believes in inquiry based learning and encourages connecting classroom  experiences to the real world outside.

Mr. Kamalesh Sekhar

A qualified Chartered Accountant and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Mr. Kamalesh has worked with large business houses across India, Europe, and Latin America. A former Professional Cricketer, he has represented Tamilnadu for 12 years across the U -13 to U-23 teams, during which time he captained the winning U-16 Tamilnadu Team and the South Zone U-16 team. Through his parallel talents & interests, he brings his unique ability to connect with people across diverse age groups and backgrounds, aiding the School to explore varied and distinct avenues in Sports, Wellbeing and Corporate interests.
