Curriculum
At Akshar Arbol International School, we provide students the opportunities and space to explore; to prepare for an as yet unclear and ultimately challenging future, characterised by a rapid pace of change; by learning how to learn.
In the AAIS curriculum, learning values, and accessibility are the pillars that uphold this preparation. A broad curriculum includes the requirements of international programmes and goes beyond them. The focus on values ensures holistic development. Accessibility allows for all stakeholders to be a part of the growth and learning of each child according to his/her potential.
A holistic education and internationalism characterise the school. Such education involves the cognitive, physical and emotional development of the child. Understanding diversity, connecting global issues, acknowledging ethical dimensions, strengthening communication, building community through service and preparing leaders for a challenging future, are standards that underpin the perspective of an international school student. This education reaches the AAIS student through a pedagogy that includes a range of approaches to teaching and learning, through collaboration at all levels and through the effective integration of technology in pedagogy.
