The Human Library
The Human Library offers Grade 3 learners a transformative educational experience that goes beyond traditional learning methods. By turning grandparents, parents, and professionals from various fields into living books, students are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in authentic narratives and gain insights that extend beyond the confines of textbooks. This innovative concept promotes empathy, understanding, and open-mindedness as students walk in someone else’s shoes, exploring diverse perspectives and life experiences. Through engaging conversations with living books, students cultivate a culture of dialogue and tolerance, fostering a deeper appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual’s story.
Crafting Stories
Grade 5 students had the honor of hosting Mr. Pattukkotai Prabhakar, a renowned Indian Writer, for an enlightening guest session. His insights and real-life examples about character description, story framing, and writing techniques were a hit among our young learners.
