Parent Orientation :
Schools having a well designed curricula will be able to provide the best to students only if it is well supported by all its stakeholders. This would mean the stakeholders would have to build their understanding of the school’s curriculum to support in nurturing young learners to succeed especially in their higher school education.
To enable this to happen we at AAIS organise for sustained interactions with our parents throughout the year to gather their support in the implementation of the school curriculum. In this process our very first interaction is the ‘Parent Orientation’scheduled at the beginning of the academic year.
This year our focus was to provide a glimpse of the learning experiences, that is more than just the various subjects and activities merely visible on a school calendar. The routines and responsibilities as a learner were aspects emphasised upon during this session .
As much a learning it is for the students, we believe it is for the parents as well!.
